A Great Wild Goodness
Experimenting with cross-posting to Mastodon from micro.blog.
I came across a beautiful poem by Annie Lighthart today. It is called “A Great Wild Goodness” and includes the sentence: “I wanted to be kind to everything.”
I wake up feeling that way sometimes but I let the urge fall away as I read the news and social media.
Somehow, for now, my Mastodon feed doesn’t do that to me. If anything, it bolsters that urge.
